The why behind the project.
José Antonio Castañón Rincón has led Fundación Castañón since 2023, when he took the reins of the institution founded by his father, Dr. Ricardo Castañón Moreno, after his father suffered a stroke. That personal experience — walking closely through a loved one's rehabilitation — gave rise to the vision that guides the center today: transforming it into Mexico's first medical center specialized in preventive and regenerative medicine.
With a business career developed between Mexico and Canada, he leads Fundación Castañón's expansion into a model of integrated specialties centered on patients' quality of life, autonomy, and independence. His conviction sums up the house philosophy: it's not about living more years, it's about living better.
